Description

Before you guys do anything like comment or favorite this artwork, it will be well-appreciate that you read my comment below first.

Why? Because there's a wickedness behind this artwork (and no, it's not that directly photo-manipulate it to look like a pencil sketch)

For those who been with me before year 2008 or happen to recently browsing through my gallery... you'll be wonder how come it does look similar to one of my pencil sketch artwork.

Yes, it's the very same artwork which you thought of. This is the original pencil sketch [link]

When the time I got nothing to do right after I submitted my recent artwork, I re-look into this pencil sketch and to my thoughts, this could be potential enough for further edit. And so I did.

But the tricky part is I don't edit using pencil... instead I go using Adobe Photoshop! :D This is the wicked part. So for those who are interested to see how I edit using Photoshop, you can refer here: [link]

In this steps, you may find some hint on how I did it for most of realism artworks. To me, be it black & white, color, traditional or digital realism, the rule applied the same... just that methods are different. (Note: all of my artworks are based on self-learning. I don't refer any tutorial or enter any classes... so don't expect any accuracy of facts. I just say those based on my experience AND each artist has their own way of doing art... and I would prefer to go my current style until I find it not feasible anymore)

Anyhow, all artworks including this are done according to my personal satisfaction. Doesn't matter what kind of method I used, so long I have my desired end-result and everything was begin from scratch and purely done with honest efforts. :D

On side note: Since I wanted to retain some originality of the sketch, mostly I edited her face. Both her hair and accessories are remain the same. :)

Enjoy!
