Portrait Drawing: Lee Ji Min

Yay for the first artwork of 2014     and Nay for the last artwork for now... . Check out for my Journal here if you want to know why...

Anyway, this artwork is the second one after Vivian Zhang portrait that featured pure drawing from a reference (not the usual digital cosplay drawing like the past few artworks). In fact, I have drawn this art since last year May (wow, 1 year ago) and now only I submit because I don't have the time (or probably lazy) to do so.

The model in this art is basically a Korean model which I randomly found on Google. I have no idea in details on who she was, it just that I wanted to find some Asian girl who is good looking to draw. If you noticed, this is the first time I draw the girl that facing sideways. I just wanted to test myself I can actually draw that.

The challenges of this artwork is to achieve the realism of hair. If you zoom in closer, you can see that I have put most of the efforts to draw her hair look more real. Her hair is long, so imagine if I had to keep on move my Wacom pen up and down to draw strand by strand LOL.

Other than that, it is nothing much to say but I'm glad to say that I still got the ability to draw despite being in a long time stay idle (though it may not be as great as previous).
