Click [link] for WIP Part 1 It's been almost 2 months plus that I didn't submit the update of my artwork since
[link]Usually I would took about 1 month to complete one artwork but this one I must say it's exceptional different. The reason I still haven't complete it yet:
1. Lightning costume was soooooo complicated. It looked simple at first. But when you plan to go into a very deep detail like doing treads, textures, buttons, beltss etc... you will be going crazy for sure.
2. Her hair has been consumed most of my time. It's been too many times of redo until I got it right. Her face also has been reedit many time to reach my satisfaction level. For me, no matter what her face must be the attraction point of all
3. I never attend any art school or study through books on the law of lighting, shading, positioning etc (well... lazy). So I need to search lots and lots of reference including myself looking into mirror. (Yeah, that even difficult I don't have any real model to be my reference. Who would like to be a volunteer? LOL
)
4. My busy work life and my procrastinate attitude... (erm, I don't think I need to elaborate this, right?
)
5. Etc. (haha lazy to think already)
Okay, for now Lightning is about 70% complete and still need to do some touch-up on certain part. And also not to mention, the background! That part may take even some time to finish... so expect this artwork to be fully complete by next month?
Anyway, now I brought to you the next Dream ID - a sneak preview for my upcoming artwork (Oh yeah, the finish one will be in color version). Enjoy!
