Artwork Update

Wow, it's been 3 months that I didn't update my Journal! It's like I've totally forget that it exists! LOL =P

Ok, as y'all knew it, currently I'm working out an artwork featuring Xion from Kingdom Hearts: 328/2 days. I realize that so far I only do 1 Kingdom Hearts artwork which is Aquarius - [link] and surprisingly, it was the most favourite artwork! (Yay! More than 400+ :D)

And now, I came into wonder whether is it really because of the artwork's beauty or its "Kingdom Hearts" theme? I know it's hard to gauge (it can be both reasons too) but judging from my both Final Fantasy & Kingdom hearts related artworks, I realize that Kingdom Hearts artworks were more well-received compared to the latter one. So now, I do this artwork to see the results =P

At the same time, of course, is to balance up my gallery... otherwise you'll be wondering "what's with this guy with Final Fantasy XIII???" ^^; (Yeah, I know. I realize I've been keep on drawing either Lightning or Stella LOL)

Initially I wasn't really plan to draw Xion but more towards Kairi. However, after some thoughts, I think Kairi is kinda... outdated? Well, it's not outdated as in she's not popular... it just that, I wanted to feature the latest title in KH. Furthermore, I did for Birth By Sleep... so, consider this like a compilation? (Well, even though I may not doing for KH: Coded ^^;)

So... Xion, it is. For now, the progress is about 30% completion and now I'm working on her Organization XIII black coat. It LOOK as if easy to draw... but after a while, I realize that it wasn't as simple as a plain black clothes on her. I still need to refer tonnes of pictures to make it as close realistic as ever. Well, it's hard to describe in words on the process, just hope that it will turn out great at the end result.

Also, this time I will be very slow to complete the whole thing. Rather than the usual 1-month period, I may use up to 2 months plus to finish due to extreme busy in life. Perhaps if lucky enough, I can make this artwork as Christmas special? LOL.

And till then, stay tune for the next journal! :D
